Nous nous attaquons donc à ce problème en développant une serviette hygiénique biodégradable en fibres de bananier, qui sera abordable et fabriquée localement par des femmes népalaises, pour des femmes népalaises. Menstruationsprojekt Im Menstruationsprojekt verfolgen wir zwei Ziele parallel, die stark miteinander verflochten sind, jedoch getrennt unterstützt werden können. Zum einen sehen wir in Nepal das Problem der Stigmatisierung gegenüber Menstruation. NIDISI bietet Webinare an, und schafft einen geschützten Raum für Mädchen und Frauen sich mit ihrem Körper und ihrer Menstruation auseinanderzusetzen. Zum anderen herrscht besonders in ländlichen Regionen mangelnder Zugang zu Hygieneprodukten. Deshalb packen wir das Problem des mangelnden Zugangs zu Hygieneprodukten an. Dafür entwickeln wir eine biologisch abbaubare Binde aus Bananenfasern, welche von nepalesischen Frauen hergestellt wird. ReValue Project Prevent plastic waste from ending up in the Nepalese environment! By processing plastic waste in a way that it can be recycled and reintegrated into the resource cycle. With only 20 € you can support the purchase of a bailing machine. These € 20 are equivalent to two tons of plastic waste no longer ending up in nature! Water Project Water is a basic right. Therefore, we provide free drinking water for our partner school in Nepal. Only 5 € can pay for another 20 liters of water per day for a whole month. Menstruation project In the menstruation project we pursue two goals at the same time, which are however strongly intertwined, but can be supported separately. First, we recognized the problem of stigmatization against menstruation in Nepal. NIDISI organizes webinars and seminars which create a protected space for girls and women to deal with their bodies and menstruation. On the other hand, especially in rural areas there is a lack of access to hygiene products as sanitary pads. That is why we are tackling the problem of lack of access to hygiene products. For this purpose, we are developing a biodegradable sanitary pad made of banana fibers, which is produced by Nepalese women.
