NIDISI is a non-profit organization creating innovative, women-centered social business solutions that drive the circular economy. Our mission is to foster equality, financial independence, and sustainable development — empowering women to lead and make self-determined decisions.

Our Structure

Our work is built on a close partnership between two legally independent organizations:

🇩🇪 NIDISI gGmbH – the German non-profit company that translates local experiences into global knowledge, provides professional support, and strengthens organizational capacities.

🇳🇵 NIDISI Nepal – the local non-profit organization that develops and implements solutions directly with communities on the ground.

Both organizations are legally and personally fully independent, with no overlaps in management or staff. While NIDISI Nepal is responsible for projects in Nepal, NIDISI gGmbH ensures knowledge transfer and international dissemination.

How We Work

Our approach combines two pillars:

• 🛠️ Atelier (Project Incubator): Developing, testing, and scaling social businesses in areas like menstrual health, plastic recycling, clean water, and education.

• 📖 Academy (Knowledge Hub): Sharing insights openly to inspire replication and collaboration across the Global South and beyond.

Together, they form a feedback loop: local action generates global knowledge, and global knowledge strengthens local impact.
